BillyKirk: Desktop Interface with Custom UI

BillyKirk is a USA based Leather & Canvas Goods Designer & Manufacturer. They sell Bags, Belts, Wallets, Card Cases, Satchels, Key Fobs, Home Goods. Custom work has long been one of Billykirk’s greatest strengths. Whether stamping a tray with initials or sewing up a custom card case, they’ve always been fan of personalization. But as a small, primarily online company, They’ve had a hard time translating their custom options to the Billykirk website.

Before the custom UI feature, the company used an online form that didn’t provide any sort of visual representation of the finished product.

Old Design: Custom Order Form

When Billykirk first launched the retail website, they wanted to create a more visual custom product experience. We discussed options and began drafting out ideas that would be feasible and affordable. We used Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) to show real-time customization. Every element of the card case can be tweaked in different materials and colors. Making custom card cases are available in a mere 15 minutes.
